Well….the answer is YES! Of corse! (hee hee hee!)

You will benefit, both as a buyer and a seller.

If people make listings for items and they type or mis-spell within the title description of their product, then it is less likely that people will find their listing. This benefits you is 2 ways:

1. As a buyer: you could deliberately do searches for items you want to buy, using the mis-spelt version. This would mean that you could buy absolute bargains, because not many people looking for that item will have found the listings and so there won’t be that many bids!

2. As a seller: If you want to sell items on eBay, an easy thing to do is look for popular items that are in demand, buy them via the method above (ie. really cheap via mis-splet titles) and then sell them on eBay with the ocrrect spelling, category and possibly improve the copy. You could then make yourself a nice little profit! See… you don’t even need to produc a product or dropship etc. You could easily do this as a second income stream.

A great tool to help you do this and look for listings with wrong spellings is Fat Fingers. They basically scour the whole of eBay for incorrect spellings and typos. You simply go to the website and type in the word you are looking for, e.g. calculator, and it then brings up the eBay listings for you to look at.

Simple!

Give it a go and see what you can find.

Until soon with more musings…

I’ve been using eBay for the last few years, for both fun and business.

I don’t know about you, but I love it!! Currently, I sell fingerprint jewellery on there (you can check out my listings by clicking here). However, there is so much more you can do with eBay.

I did a couple of courses about making money with eBay. Both are really great and has helped me a lot. I really recommend that you take a look and see for yourself what you can potentially earn from eBay alone.

First, I did Matt and Amanda Clarkson’s course. They are known as the eBay Magicians. They are Australian, but sell products around the world by only using eBay. They made something like $60,000 plus in the their first 6 months on eBay! Their course is a really easy and step-by-step guide, which you can go through as quickly or as slowly as you’d like. Check out the course now and see for yourself. You can even get a free gift for just looking.

The second course I did was by John Thornhill who is known for making money on eBay selling eBooks. I recommend you take a look at his course called ‘Become an eBay Powerseller in 90 days‘. He is a very good teacher. Very easy to follow. Highly recommended.

Take the time to check these 2 courses out. They really are some of the best ones on eBay out there.

That’s it for now. I’ll be back with more musings.

Until next week……
